The QASPIR Foundation Global Study On Faculty’s Perceived Role In Facilitating  Student Development Of Soft Skills For Employability And Societal Impact.

Copyright 2022

Thank you for your participation in this anonymous survey of faculty perceptions about developing students’ soft skills for employability and societal impact.

While there is demographic information collected as part of the survey, your responses will be anonymous, with demographic information used only to aggregate findings globally and across countries, regions, institutional types, and institutions.

The survey should take around 15 minutes, with only one, brief free-form response. Please respond to questions based on your initial inclinations (i.e., based on your gut reaction). We have worked to translate the survey successfully across languages for all respondents.

We appreciate your help with this research.

About the QASPIR Foundation

The QASPIR Foundation has been established to improve the quality of teaching and learning, from K-12 to Higher Education, around the world. We recognize that for students to flourish and reach their full potential they must be supported by faculty who can teach, inspire, and access a wide array of instructional resources to effectively educate their students.

For 2022, the QASPIR Foundation will focus on the three following initiatives:

  • The USA 2m Teacher Graduate Initiative
We believe by providing free resources to graduate teachers for the first two years of their career we can support Colleges of Education and School Districts in their efforts to reduce the attrition rate of teachers. Over the next 4 years the QASPIR Foundation will provide 2 million free accounts to Qedex for all new teachers entering K-12.
  • The Iraq K-12 Teacher Initiative
As part of our global focus on providing support to where it is urgently needed, for 2022 we are providing free resources and training to over 340,000 K-12 teachers in Iraq and Kurdistan.

A 17 question survey.

Please move through questions 1-16 quickly and mark your initial feeling about how you would rate yourself. A final question allows for free form response.

Step 1 of 4
‘First Generation’ - A formal definition of a first-generation college student is a student whose parent(s) did not complete a four-year college or university degree and who therefore has no immediate family role model for being a college student.
If each of the following were added as an outcome you were supposed to help your students achieve in each of the classes you teach, how well prepared do you feel you are right now to help students reach the indicated outcome?
